Bellator

It was a night of brutal one punch KO finishes tonight at Bellator 148, capped off by another one from welterweight wrecking ball Paul Daley.

The Strike force and UFC vet made quick work of Andy Uhrich in the night’sky main event, landing a vicious blow against the cage that felled Uhrich and allowed Daley to walk off with hands raised.

Paul Bradley and Patricky “Pitbull” Freire gave a nice lead up to that finish, taking out Chris Honeycutt and Ryan Couture, respectively, with nasty finishes of their own. Bradley took Honeycutt out just 40 seconds into the first with a brutal right hand, following up with a couple on the ground.

As for Freire, who took the bout with Couture on just over two weeks notice, he took some damage in order to deliver his own. Freire was landing considerably more despite getting rocked once himself, but then delivered a sick left hand that put Couture out cold for several moments.

In the Spike opener, Tony Johnson wore down an exhausted Raphael Butler, with the referee stepping in late during the final minute to stop it more due to inactivity than any real damage.
