Tyron Woodley has made weight, and at the very least will receive his show money for UFC 192.
Woodley’s bout with Johny Hendricks was scrapped on Friday morning after Hendricks was hospitalized due to a bad weight cut. Woodley said he was going to make weight anyway as it was what he was contracted to do, and he hit the scale at 170.25 lbs prior to the official weigh-ins.
The 33-year-old Woodley is hoping for more than his show money, as he believes it should essentially count as a loss for Hendricks, but it’s not clear what exactly he’ll receive from the UFC.
