“It’s hard to say. I’m a big fan of [Conor] McGregor, I’m becoming a huge fan of [Rafael dos Anjos]. Based on [dos Anjos’] performances, I think I’m going to go with him. I’m not rooting for either person but if I had to put my money on someone, I’d put it on RDA. [Donald] ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone’s my teammate and I watched him prepare and I knew he was super prepared to become a world champion and the way that fight went just shows me what level RDA is on. So if I had to put my money on it, I think I’d go RDA.”

Penick’s Analysis: It’s a hard fight to pick in large part because of the intangibles brought by McGregor. Dos Anjos seems like he’s got the skill set to take McGregor out, but McGregor’s followed through on everything he’s said he’d do to date, and seems capable of winning just the same. Dos Anjos should be favored with McGregor coming up, but McGregor is far from a small man, and he’s going to present a very real and significant challenge to the Brazilian champion. It’s a fantastic matchup, and it’s going to be great to see on March 5.
