Several fights are official for the UFC’s first ever trip to Croatia, with the organization confirming four bouts for the UFC Fight Night 86 event in Zagreb in Croatia.
The first fight confirmed is one that was previously reported, pitting Gabriel Gonzaga against Rashid Magomedov. Additionally, the UFC has confirmed Jan Blachowicz vs. Igor Pokrajac, Bojan Mihajlovic vs. Francis Ngannou, and Nicolas Dalby vs. Bartosz Fabinski.
Poland’s Blachowicz hopes to bounce back from consecutive losses to Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson in 2015. Zagreb’s own Pokrajac returns to the UFC for the first time since December of 2014. He was released following a five fight winless streak from 2012-2014, but picked up three straight wins in 2015 outside of the organization.
Mihajlovic makes his UFC debut at 35-years-old. The Serbian began his career with three straight losses, but has won all ten of his fights since 2007. He’ll now take on Francis Ngannou, the Frenchman who made a successful debut in December.
Dalby made a successful UFC debut last May, and had one hell of a fight with another undefeated fighter in Darren Till in his second bout. That ended by majority draw after Dalby made a major third round comeback and nearly ended the fight, as he was losing the first two rounds prior to that. Fabinski enters the fight on a six-fight winning streak, which includes both of his performances in the UFC thus far.
The UFC Fight Night 86 event will air live on UFC Fight Pass on April 10.
