UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs. Parnasse was this past weekend and featured a lot of exciting fights. Who won and who lost? Let’s get to the rundown.
UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs. Parnasse
GOOD- Losene Keita stops Muhammad Naimov
Keita quickly staggers Naimov with a big left hook. Keita is all over Neimov, eventually dropping him with a jab. He lets him up after a few punches but then crushes him with a combination that drops him again and ends the fight with the walk-off not quite three minutes into the first round.
Keita improves to 17-2 while Naimov drops to 13-5. Good win for Keita.
GOOD- Kurtis Campbell submits Trevor Peek
Campbell starts off with kicks before getting a takedown. They’re up and down several times before the first round ends. The second round begins with Peek scoring with some boxing before Campbell gets another takedown. Again, they’re up and down a few times as Campbell advances position. The third round starts with Campbell getting another takedown. They’re up and down a few times before Campbell locks in a tight rear-naked choke that gets the submission win a bit over three minutes into the third round. Not the most exciting of fights but Campbell’s strategy was sound.
Campbell improves to 9-1 while Peek drops to 9-4 with 1 No Contest and has lost 3 straight fights. Good win for Campbell.
GOOD- Daniil Donchenko vs. Punahele Soriano
Donchenko lands some good punches before being warned for outstretched fingers. They trade strikes as Soriano tries for a few takedowns. Donchenko drops Soriano but Soriano survives and the first round ends. The second round begins with some good striking from Donchenko. Soriano fights back some but I think he’s down 2-0 as we enter the third. The third round starts with Soriano getting a takedown. He gets a few more and wins the round but I don’t think it’ll be enough. The fight ends so we go to the judges to render their verdict.
Donchenko wins the decision to improve to 15-2 and has won 8 straight fights while Soriano drops to 13-5 and has his 4 fight winning streak snapped. Good win for Donchenko.
BAD/UGLY- Michael Page vs. Nursulton Ruziboev
Ruziboev gets an immediate takedown but can’t do anything with it. They finally stand up but then clinch right away. Great… The second round begins with a little striking. The only thing Page can do is stomp at his opponent’s knee, which I definitely think is a bush league below him, but whatever. The third round starts with a little striking before Ruziboev gets a takedown. Nothing else happens, this fight sucked. It’s an embarrassment for both men. We go to the judges to render their verdict.
Page wins the decision to improve to 26-3 and has won 4 straight fights while Ruziboev drops to 37-10-2 with 2 No Contests and has his 3 fight winning streak snapped. It’s a win for Page.
GOOD- Axel Sola stops Fares Ziam
Kicks from Ziam are answered with punches by Sola. A bit more striking before Sola cracks Ziam with a huge overhand left that drops him. Sola follow-up punches seal the deal one hundred seconds into the first round. Wow.
Sola improves to 13-1-1 while Ziam drops to 18-6. Good win for Sola.
GOOD- Salahdine Parnasse stops Dan Hooker
They’re trading a lot of kicks early before Parnasse smashes Hooker with a powerful body kick that doubles him over. Parnasse fires away with punches until the referee jumps in to stop the fight a little over halfway through the first round.
Parnasse improves to 24-2 and has won 6 straight fights while Hooker drops to 24-14 and has lost 3 straight fights. Good win for Parnasse.
*************
Valentina Shevchenko (26-4-1) has been forced to vacate her UFC Flyweight Championship due to injury. Shevchenko was scheduled to defend her title against Natalia Silva (20-5-1) but now Silva will face Cong Wang (10-1) for the undisputed UFC Flyweight Championship at UFC 332 on October 3, 2026.

My new epic fantasy book is out. It’s called Kingdom of Zarias: The End’s Beginning. The exciting epic fantasy series Kingdom of Zarias returns with the 4th book in the series. After the harrowing events of Book 3 the residents of the Kingdom of Zarias continue on their paths. Serena Summers continues to learn and grow as a fighter, desperately seeking to become stronger before she loses anyone else in her life. Daniel Summers discovers new parts of the world that open his eyes to just how little he truly knows. A new hero, Lamar Abeers, arrives to join the fight against evil. Plus, Zach Summers, Tiana Highsmith, and Xavien Ekens continue their journeys with their friends, and a new ruler of Vhaharen is crowned. The world has found a little peace. However, that peace is only temporary. In a shocking act of violence, the monstrous villain Galren strikes from the shadows and changes the world forever. This is Book 4 in the series. There’s lots of action, magic, and monsters in the Kingdom of Zarias. It’s like a tabletop game in novel form. It’s on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and many other places. Also, my line of comic books are now available under the 3P Comics label. If you’re interested, I would greatly appreciate it if you would check it out and support me. Thank you very much, have a good day.
