UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Horiguchi was this past weekend and featured a lot of exciting fights. Who won and who lost? Let’s get to the rundown.

UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Horiguchi
GOOD- Vinicius Oliveira stops Andre Fili
They’re trading strikes early and often. Oliveira is being much more aggressive, though Fili is also landing some strong strikes. The second round begins with kicks flying from all angles. Oliveira is attacking the body well and traps Fili against the fence, punishing him with body shots, elbows and knees that prove to be too much for even the ultra tough Fili and the referee has to jump in to stop the fight with only four seconds left in the second round.
Oliveira improves to 24-4 while Fili drops to 25-14 with 1 No Contest. Good win for Oliveira.

GOOD- Murtazali Magomedov submits Melsik Baghdasaryan
They trade early kicks until Magomedov shoots in for a takedown and grabs a body triangle and twists Baghdasaryan’s upper half into a modified version of a Twister submission that forces the tap not quite eighty second into the first round. Wow, what a debut.
Magomedov improves to a perfect 11-0 while Badhdasaryan drops to 8-4. Good win for Magomedov.

GOOD- Christian Rodriguez submits Hyder Amil
Amil kicks the legs but has the next one caught. However, Rodriguez can’t get the takedown and now he’s throwing a bunch of kicks. Rodriguez drops Amil with a big head kick that he somehow survives and Amil goes for a takedown. Rodriguez locks in a tight guillotine and Amil goes to sleep a bit over three and a half minutes into the first round.
Rodriguez improves to 13-4 while Amil drops to 11-3 and has lost 3 straight fights. Good win for Rodriguez.

GOOD- Navajo Stirling stops Ion Cutelaba
They clinch early and Cutelaba grabs a guillotine. They go to the mat and Stirling escapes. They’re up and down before standing again and starting to trade strikes. Cutelaba tosses Stirling to the mat again but he quickly stands and they trade strikes until the first round ends. The second round begins with Cutelaba throwing a bunch of kicks while Stirling fights back with punches and an elbow. Stirling gets a takedown but Cutelaba is right back up. Cutelaba grabs a kimura and takes Stirling down. Stirling escapes and stands but eats a bunch of punches on the way up. Cutelaba gets another takedown but Stirling reverses and is on top and he starts dropping punches and elbows until the referee has to jump in to stop the fight three and a half minutes into the second round.
Stirling improves to a perfect 10-0 while Cutelaba drops to 20-12-1 with 1 No Contest. Good win for Stirling.

GOOD- Manel Kape stops Kyoji Horiguchi
They trade kicks all throughout the first round until Horiguchi gets a takedown before the round ends. The second round begins with more kicks being traded until Horiguchi gets another takedown. Kape lands some nice elbows from his back but Horiguchi controls the round. The third round starts with both men throwing heavy strikes. Things are heating up as Horiguchi is connecting with some power strikes. However, Kape throws a beautiful counter right directly into the chin that staggers Horiguchi. Kape shoves him to the ground and is all over him with punches. As Horiguchi is trying to get up, Kape nails him with another powerful right hand and the referee jumps in to stop the fight a bit over halfway through the third round.
Kape improves to 23-7 and has won 4 straight fights while Horiguchi drops to 36-6 with 1 No Contest and has his 5 fight winning streak snapped. Good win for Kape.

My new epic fantasy book is out. It’s called Kingdom of Zarias: The End’s Beginning. The exciting epic fantasy series Kingdom of Zarias returns with the 4th book in the series. After the harrowing events of Book 3 the residents of the Kingdom of Zarias continue on their paths. Serena Summers continues to learn and grow as a fighter, desperately seeking to become stronger before she loses anyone else in her life. Daniel Summers discovers new parts of the world that open his eyes to just how little he truly knows. A new hero, Lamar Abeers, arrives to join the fight against evil. Plus, Zach Summers, Tiana Highsmith, and Xavien Ekens continue their journeys with their friends, and a new ruler of Vhaharen is crowned. The world has found a little peace. However, that peace is only temporary. In a shocking act of violence, the monstrous villain Galren strikes from the shadows and changes the world forever. This is Book 4 in the series. There’s lots of action, magic, and monsters in the Kingdom of Zarias. It’s like a tabletop game in novel form. It’s on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and many other places. Also, my line of comic books are now available under the 3P Comics label. If you’re interested, I would greatly appreciate it if you would check it out and support me.
