On Friday, the Invicta flyweight tournament crowns it’s #1 contender in a rematch between TUF competitor Deanna Bennett and Mexican standout Karina Rodriguez.
Rodriguez-Bennett 1 was a very close fight as Deanna etched out a split decision victory.
It proved to be Bennett’s extra experience in the TUF house and savvy was a bit too much for Karina towards the later minutes of the fight. After breaking her 3-fight win streak, Karina took time off before jumping back in the victory lane against Milana Dudieva.
Expect these women to come out and not exchange pleasantries. These two are already familiar with each other so the feeling out process is not necessary.

Both contenders understand their first fight could have went either way, so a finish will be ideal to put this series to rest. The winner is awarded the grand prize of a fight with current flyweight champion Vanessa Porto.
The co-main event will be fireworks as the streaking Alesha Zappitella tests her skills against former UFC fighter Viviane Pereira. The Brazilian Pereira will look to earn her first Invicta FC win against the undefeated Zappitella. Both women pack a lot of power in spite of their atomweight designation.
The card also features Katharina Lehner making her return to the cage after dropping her first loss to Sarah Kaufman. Lehner, a native German will take on undefeated prospect Lisa ‘The Strangler’ Spangler. These bantamweights’ are coming to finish and look forward to earning a shot at the belt.
