Despite his loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196, Conor McGregor still became the first fighter to receive a seven-figure disclosed payout on a UFC event. The Nevada Athletic Commission released payroll figures into the event, and with the results from the night we now have the full list of payouts.
In addition to McGregor’s $1 million payday, Nate Diaz earned a disclosed $500,000 for the win, as did Holly Holm in her loss to Miesha Tate. Tate took home a disclosed $92,000 in her title win. McGregor, Diaz, and Holm all are likely to earn considerably more on pay-per-view points for the event, with McGregor saying last week he would “breeze past $10 million” in earnings for the fight.
