‘Tough One’
Darren Till made his first statement since that devastating KO loss to Jorge Masvidal last weekend in London. In a post to his Instagram account along with a picture atop a Whistler, BC ski hill, Till gave credit to Masvidal for his performance and vowed to be back better than before.
Last Saturday was a tough night against a strong opponent, @gamebredfighter
Fight game is a tough one.
Few things need refocusing now, feel like I lost me self the past year & haven’t been fully focused to my craft!
I’ve had a week in this amazing place Canada to revitalise with my thoughts!
I’ll be back a different animal, @teamkaobon is still the best coach & person in this world & we will dominate for years to come.
Can not wait to be back at the gym Monday evolving and focusing like never before. I owe it to myself!
Peace motherf*ckers

Till has now lost two in a row, to Masvidal, and a welterweight title fight with Tyron Woodley last year.
Harris hangs them up
Former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor Gerald Harris has decided to hang up his gloves after a tough Bellator 218 loss Saturday night. Harris dropped opponent Anatoly Tokov with a big left hand in the first round of their fight but eventually lost the fight via submission in the second round after Tokov was able to recover and rally.
In a pair of tweets late Saturday night, Harris told his followers that he has fought his last fight.
I was very close to winning, but cane up short to a game opponent. Thanks for the support everyone. That was the last fight on my contract. I have no regrets or shame in my career. https://t.co/YYUviX12HL

That was my last one plus I turn 40 in November.

Harris was a competitor on the seventh season of “The Ultimate Fighter” losing in the first round to eventual winner Amir Sadollah. He was still brought onto the UFC roster where he won his first three fights, including a knockout win over David Branch. Harris went on to fight for World Seris of Fighting and Legacy Fighting Championship before finding himself in Bellator. Harris went winless over his four Bellator fights and will finish his professional career with a very respectable 25-8-1 record.
