According to UFC President Dana White, the UFC will no longer book BJ Penn.

In an interview with ESPN, White stated the UFC has informed Penn that they would no longer give Penn fights.

While the UFC has been criticized for continuing to book Penn, scrutiny increased last week when videos surfaced of Penn fighting at a bar in Hawaii. In one of the videos, Penn appeared to be knocked out.

Penn was believed to face Nik Lentz in Penn’s final fight, however, the UFC never officially announced the bout.

In the past year, Penn has faced a series of personal issues, including allegations of abuse by his estranged partner.

Penn’s MMA career has also been in turmoil for several years. Penn’s last victory came in 2010 against Matt Hughes. Since 2010, Penn fought to a majority draw, before losing his next seven fights.

In the interview with White, he claimed that he would be open to communication with Penn, in regards to his personal life.
