UFC Stockholm has lost its co-main event.

The UFC announced on Thursday that light heavyweight Ilir Latifi would be forced to withdraw from his scheduled fight against Volkan Oezdemir.

Per the UFC, a back injury is preventing Latifi from competing.

Oezdemir will not be given a replacement fight on the card.

The fight cancellation prevents both men from getting back into the win column.

Most recently, Latifi dropped a decision to Corey Anderson at UFC 232 in December 2018.

While Oezdemir was looking to break a three-fight losing streak  that dates back to a loss to then-champion Daniel Cormier in a light heavyweight title fight at UFC 220 in January 2018.
