Former UFC women’s featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie will face rising bantamweight contender Aspen Ladd in the main even of UFC Sacramento on July 13.
The UFC made the announcement official after media reports of the fight circulated.

De Randamie is currently ranked #1 in the official UFC bantamweight rankings. She recently earned a decision victory over Raquel Pennington in November. De Randamie has the distinction of being the inaugural women’s featherweight champion, but was stripped of the title after refusing to defend the title against Cris Cyborg.
Ladd is 8-0 with her most recent victory coming over Sijara Eubanks at UFC Rochester in May.
UFC Sacramento will take place on July 13 from the Golden 1 Center. The event will also mark the return of UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber.
