Berdon allegedly assaulted Ostovich in the early hours of Sunday, Nov. 18 at their home in Honolulu following an argument. Ostovich was hospitalized and treated for a broken orbital bone. She was released from the hospital later in the day.
Ostovich claimed in a petition for a restraining order that “After a night out with family, [Berdon] punched me repeatedly on the head, face, ribs, making me fall to the ground.”
Berdon was originally arrested and charged with felony assault that was later changed to the second-degree attempted murder charge. Now facing second-degree assault charges, Berdon is still prohibited from coming within Ostovich or their 5-year-old daughter.
