Roy Nelson vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva set for UFC Fight Night 95 in Brasilia; Cris “Cyborg” confirmed to headline

Despite a lack of recent success, heavyweights Roy Nelson and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva will get another fight in the UFC this September.

The organization announced on Thursday that the fight will take place at UFC Fight Night 95 in Brasilia on Sept. 24. Additionally, they confirmed a previous report that the event will be headlined by a catchweight bout at 140 lbs. between Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos and newcomer Lina Akthar Lansberg.

Following a loss to Derrick Lewis in his most recent fight, Nelson has now been beaten in four of his last five fights and six of his last eight. The Ultimate Fighter 10 winner is nevertheless getting another shot at keeping his spot on the roster.

“Bigfoot” Silva is in a similar spot, having scored just one win in his last six fights. The longtime veteran is in even worse shape than Nelson, as he was stopped in his last four losses.
