After a two-fight stint in Bellator’s featherweight division, Jordan Parsons is heading back to lightweight next month at Bellator 154.
The organization announced Friday that Parsons will meet Adam Piccolotti on the card, coming to the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., on May 14.
The 25-year-old Parsons entered Bellator in 2014 as a 9-1 prospect, and he won two straight to start his run by knocking out Tim Bazer and submitting Julio Cesar. He met Bubba Jenkins in a featherweight matchup in his last fight in November, dropping a split decision in that fight.
Piccolotti, 27, holds a perfect 7-0 mark in his young MMA career, with three of those wins coming in the Bellator cage. Piccolotti has stopped five of his seven opponents, with consecutive submission wins into this event.
Bellator 154 will air live on Spike head to head with the UFC 198 pay-per-view from Brazil, headlined by the light heavyweight feature bout between Phil Davis and Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal.
