Scott Coker is back in the kickboxing business, as the Bellator MMA President announced on Thursday that, in conjunction with Spike, they’re launching Bellator Kickboxing this April.

“Kickboxing is a thrilling, non-stop action-packed sport that I believe will resonate with MMA fans,” said Coker in a press release. “Our first goal is to develop stars and showcase these incredible athletes on the #1 home for combat sports, Spike TV.”

The debut Bellator Kickboxing fights will be a part of Bellator’s debut in Torino, Italy, which will be a combined show with Bellator MMA and Oktagon Kickboxing. Melvin Manhoef vs. Alexandru Negrea will headline the kickboxing portion of the event, with a title bout between Mustapha Haida and Kharim Ghajii also set.

Additional fighters announced to compete on the kickboxing portion are Kevin Ross, Raymond Daniels, and Denise Kielholtz. The event will air via tape delay on Spike on April 16 at 9PM ET, with the MMA portion, Bellator 152, airing live from Italy earlier in the day at 3PM ET.
