Jessica Aguilar’s second appearance in the UFC has been delayed for a considerable amount of time, as she’s been forced out of her planned UFC 197 bout with Juliana Lima due to a serious knee injury, according to a report from MMAFighting.com.

The former WSOF Women’s Strawweight Champion will be undergoing surgery for a torn ligament next Tuesday, per the report. The 33-year-old had her ten fight winning streak snapped in her UFC debut last summer, dropping a decision to Claudia Gadelha.

Lima is now left waiting on a new opponent in hopes of extending her winning streak to three. The 34-year-old Brazilian lost a decision to current champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk in her debut, but has defeated Nina Ansaroff and Ericka Almeida in her two appearances since then.

UFC 197 is still more than a month away, coming to Las Vegas on April 23 with a main event rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.
