The possibility of Georges St-Pierre returning to action has a lot of people excited, and though there’s been no concrete word whether or not he will be back, even UFC President Dana White over the weekend confirmed that there had been talks regarding a potential UFC 200 fight.
There are a lot of fighters who want to welcome the former UFC Welterweight Champion back to the cage, and one potentially intriguing option is Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.
The former Lightweight Title challenger recently jumped up to welterweight, defeating Alex Garcia on late notice last month. On Wednesday, he took to Twitter to throw his name into the mix for a GSP bout.
Hey GSP @ufc #200 I know a guy. @GeorgesStPierre

Penick’s Analysis: Cerrone’s certainly a name the UFC could sell, but the top of the list with Conor McGregor’s loss has to be a fight with Robbie Lawler for the UFC Welterweight Title, something he never lost. We still don’t know if he will for sure be back, but GSP against just about anyone is going to mean a big fight.
