Conor McGregor talks about his anticipation for next bout.

Conor McGregor has been in the news a lot lately, but apparently he wants the discussion to be about his next fight.

Speaking to Parimatch at a media event, McGregor indicated that he is frustrated with his recent MMA activity.

McGregor stated, “I was trying to get the Dec. 14 card. For whatever reason, they’ve been holding me back. I’m giving them dates. I’m saying ‘I want to fight this date, this date, this date, this date in a row.’ We have opponents selected and everything. They’re just making it very difficult for me for whatever reason.”

However, there might be a good reason that the UFC is hesitant to book McGregor.

Last week The New York Times reported that McGregor is being investigated over a sexual assault allegation by Dublin authorities. This is the second sexual assault  investigation linked to Conor McGregor in 2019.

McGregor denied all allegations through a statement given to the New York Times.

During his talk with Parimatch, McGregor indicated that he is looking to host an MMA charity event in December.

Faber vs. Yan targeted for UFC 245

After his successful return fight, Urijah Faber will fight Petr Yan at UFC 245.

According to a report by ESPN, the UFC is close to finalizing a fight between Faber and Yan on Dec. 14.

After a three-year retirement, Faber defeated Ricky Simon at UFC Boston in July. In the aftermath of fight, Faber indicated that he wanted to resume an active MMA career.

Yan is undefeated in the UFC with an overall record of 13-1. Most recently, Yan defeated Jimmie Rivera via decision at UFC 238.

UFC 245 will be headlined by a welterweight title fight between Kamaru Usman  and Colby Covington.

Aldo vs. Moraes set for UFC 245

Featherweight legend Jose Aldo is ready to make his bantamweight debut.

mmajunkie  first reported that Aldo will fight Marlon Moraes at UFC 245.

Both men are coming off of tough losses over the summer.

In May, Aldo dropped a decision to Alexander Volkanovski. Prior to that fight, Aldo was on a two-fight winning streak.

Moraes will look to rebound after getting TKO’d by Henry Cejudo in a fight for the vacant bantamweight title at UFC 238.
