There aren’t many words left to describe Jon Jones. He once again showed why in the words of Bret Hart he is “The Best There Is the Best There Was and the Best There Ever Will Be.” This fight was a clinic with a world-class athlete taking apart an up and comer with a future in the world of MMA. I do disagree with Anthony “Lionheart” Smith when he said “I don’t feel like I got run through” and “I don’t feel like he beat the …. out of me.” Smith thinks “there’s no other 205 pounders going to mess with him.” I’d like to see a number one contenders match between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith. The winner of that match could face the winner of Jon Jones and Thiago Santos. If Jones won those two fights who wouldn’t love to see him move up and go for the heavyweight title.
