On Thursday, Georges St-Pierre will walk out into Montreal’s Bell Centre for the last time as a UFC fighter.

RDS’s Benoit Beaudoin has reported that St-Pierre will hold a press conference on Thursday afternoon to officially announce his retirement from MMA. GSP hasn’t fought since he defeated Michael Bisping at UFC 217 to claim the UFC middleweight championship in November of 2017. That fight came after a nearly four-year layoff.

By any measure, St-Pierre is one of, if not the most successful fighters in UFC history. With a professional record of 26-2, GSP has not lost a fight since a shocking upset loss to Matt Serra in April of 2007. GSP won his next 13 fights to finish out his career. His only other loss was early in his career at UFC 50 to Matt Hughes. St-Pierre went on to avenge both the Hughes and Serra losses in championship rematches.

As of the publication of this article, a live stream has not been established for the press conference but check back with MMATorch.com on Thursday and we will share a stream if available.
