Conor wants Mayweather’s sloppy seconds

Conor McGregor must have time to think about his future plans while sitting at home with his newborn second child. In a tweet Sunday night, McGregor said that he wants to fight Japanese kickboxer and MMA fighter Tenshin Nasukawa.

“I wish to go to Tokyo to face Tenshin Nasukawa in a Mixed Martial Arts exhibition bout,” McGregor tweeted. “Before this summer. Please arrange this, this instant. Yours sincerely The champ champ.”

Nasukawa fought in an exhibition boxing match with Floyd Mayweather on New Year’s Eve, losing via first-round TKO. McGregor is still awaiting a hearing with the Nevada Athletic Commission to determine his fate with UFC. An exhibition in Japan could circumvent any potential suspensions stateside but it is unlikely UFC would approve such a thing.

Dillashaw with strong words for Cejudo

TJ Dillashaw is supremely confident heading into his flyweight title fight on Jan. 19 against Henry Cejudo. Cejudo’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz said recently that he thinks Dillashaw will be “fragile and weak” trying to make the weigh-cut to 125. Dillashaw feels differently and he thinks he will defeat Abdelaziz’s client in the most extreme way.

“He’s praying I don’t make weight,” Dillashaw wrote in an Instagram comment. “He know I’ll kill his fighter.”

Dillashaw is looking ripped in the pic for sure. As for how his weight cut is going, we’ll know for sure on Jan. 18.
