Khabib Nurmagomedov and Floyd Mayweather have started talk of a potential fight between the two. Most assumed that should such a fight happen, that it would be a boxing match. Talk of the fight has died down in the last week or two, so TMZ and Dana White decided to fan the flames a bit.
TMZ caught up with the UFC president recently and asked him what he thought about a Khabib-Mayweather fight.
“Listen, if Mayweather wants to fight, come fight,” White said. “You fight in the UFC. We’re not boxing him. We did that once. That’s over.”
Of course, Mayweather fought Conor McGregor in a boxing match in August 2017. The fight did massive business, including over 4 million pay-per-view buys. Mayweather won the fight by 10th round TKO. Despite the success of that fight, White appears to have no interest in putting one of his fighters in a boxing ring again.
“You wanna fight? You come fight – a real fight.”

UFC has claimed to be “as real as it gets,” but money is real too, so if this is something they want to happen, expect to see Khabib Nurmagomedov in the squared circle sometime next year.
