Jon Jones’ reaction to Daniel Cormier offering help to Ovince St. Preux has led to a vehement push back from Cormier, who went off on Jones in a string of comments on Twitter.

Cormier’s comments weren’t just for Jones, as he went off on a couple of fan responses as well:

For his part, Jones responded by laughing Cormier off.

Penick’s Analysis: Man, that’s still just not a good look for Cormier. In fact, he comes off worse in his responses to fans, especially as he’s trying to sport the morally superior stance over Jones. There’s plenty to target Jones about, especially after the hit and run and his latest run-in with the law, but Jones isn’t wrong in the optics regarding Cormier wanting to help Ovince St. Preux. It’s not something that makes sense if Cormier’s intent on proving he’s better than Jones, and his tangential responses to that stance don’t come off well.
