The May 20 Bellator 155 event has added a couple of new main card fights, with the organization announcing Thursday that Marcin Held will take on Dave Jansen in a rematch, while Chase Gormley meets Joey Beltran.
Held and Jansen fought one another back in 2013, with Jansen taking a decision win at Bellator 93. In the time since then, each has gotten a shot at Will Brooks and the Bellator Lightweight Championship, though Held has been much more active. Injuries have seen Jansen fight just twice since that 2013 meeting, with him defeating Rick Hawn before losing a decision to Brooks. Held, meanwhile, won six fights in a row after his loss to Jansen, having that snapped in November by his decision loss to Brooks in November.
Beltran moves back to heavyweight after a four year run at both light heavyweight and middleweight in the UFC and Bellator, and comes back to Bellator after a fight away from the organization. Gormley, who fought for the UFC once each in 2009 and 2010, respectively, entered Bellator for the first time last September on a five fight winning streak, but found himself on the wrong end of a knockout against Dan Charles.
Bellator 155 airs live on Spike from the Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho, headlined by a Middleweight Title bout between Rafael Carvalho and Melvin Manhoef.
