A pair of Strikeforce vets will square off in Las Vegas this February, as it was announced on Wednesday’s UFC Tonight program on Fox Sports 1 that Ovince St. Preux and Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante will meet at UFC 196.

St. Preux is 6-2 in the UFC since Strikeforce was folded into the organization, scoring five stoppage wins in that time. However, he’s fallen short in two main event fights, dropping a decision to Ryan Bader in a five round bout, and getting submitted by Glover Teixeira in his most recent outing in August.

Cavalcante’s UFC run has been less successful, and much more infrequent than St. Preux. The former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champ had his UFC debut delayed due to a failed drug test in his final Strikeforce bout, and since entering in 2013 he’s fought just four times, losing three of them. That includes a bad TKO loss to Patrick Cummins in August for the fourth stoppage loss of his career.

UFC 196 airs live on pay-per-view from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Feb. 6, headlined by the UFC Heavyweight Championship rematch between Fabricio Werdum and Cain Velasquez.
