Frightening details of the alleged assault on UFC flyweight Rachael Ostovich by her husband, Arnold Berdon have been revealed through court documents obtained by TMZ.

“After a night out with family, he punched me repeatedly on the head, face, ribs, making me fall to the ground,” Ostovich said in a petition for a restraining order following the alleged assault. Ostovich was hospitalized and treated for a broken orbital bone before being released.

“I gasped for breath and escaped thru [sic] balcony. I coughed up blood, threw up sev. times. Cracked orbital,” the petition continued.

The restraining order was approved, prohibiting Berdon from being within 100 feet of Ostovich or their 5-year-old daughter. Berdon has since been arrested and charged with second-degree attempted murder. He remains in custody and has yet to appear in court.

The assault allegedly occurred Saturday night/Sunday morning at their Hawaii home. Ostovich also alleges prior abuse, specifically a May 2018 incident where Berdon punched Ostovich repeatedly in the legs.

Ostovich has been forced to pull out of her scheduled fight with Paige VanZant coming up in January.
