The fates of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor remain unknown after today’s Nevada Athletic Commision hearing. The commission voted unanimously to extend the two men’s suspensions until a Dec. 10 hearing date.
Circle Monday, Dec. 10, on your calendar. That is the day currently scheduled to host the December commission meeting, save any changes. Khabib and Conor to attend. See you all then at 9 a.m. PT.

Nurmagomedov and McGregor were part of a wild brawl that erupted following their UFC 229 fight that Nurmagomedov won by submission in the fourth round. Nurmagomedov’s $2 million purse was withheld nearly immediately and both fighters were issued temporary suspensions pending the results of the NAC’s investigation. Initially McGregor had avoided any suspension but new video evidence caused the commission to issue the temporary ban.
Half of Nurmagomedov’s $2 million purse has now been released to him.
NSAC votes unanimously to release $1 million of Nurmagomedov's $2 million purse. The other $1 million will continue to be withheld, pending its ongoing investigation.

Neither man was reported to be present at today’s proceedings but both are expected to be at the December hearing.
This is not McGregor’s first run-in with the Nevada Athletic Commission. In August 2016 prior to UFC 202, McGregor got caught up in a bottle and energy drink can throwing fight with Nate Diaz and his entourage. McGregor went on to pay a small fine and do some community service.
It was noted at the hearing that the commission has the power to permanently ban and fine the full purses for each fighter, although such an extreme punishment is unlikely.
The attorney general just informed the commission they are authorized to ban Nurmagomedov and McGregor for life, and fine them 100 percent of their respective purses. That won't happen, but it's worth noting there is really no limit on the possible punishment, based on NSAC regs.
