Bellator MMA is back in the States for Bellator 228 on Saturday night. The event takes place at the Forum in Inglewood, California. The main event takes place in the featherweight division where Patricio Freire defends his Bellator featherweight championship against Juan Archuleta. The bout also serves as an opening round fight in the Featherweight World Grand Prix Tournament.
The co-main takes place in the middleweight division where former Bellator middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi goes up against Lyoto Machida. The main card also includes Darrion Caldwell taking on Henry Corrales, Daniel Weichel goes up against Saul Rogers and AJ McKee vs. Georgi Karakhanyan. All three bouts are first round fights in the Bellator Featherweight World Grand Prix Tournament.
The prelims will stream on DAZN and the Bellator mobile app beginning at 6:30 PM (CST). The main card will stream on DAZN starting at 9:00 PM (CST).
