I’m going with Mousasi by TKO in the 3rd round. I think Machida starts slow, like usual, and Mousasi starts picking him apart. I think the punishment takes its toll and Machida isn’t able to withstand it for the whole fight. Mousasi is a high quality fighter who hits hard and I think he eventually catches Machida and ends the fight.

Gegard Mousasi is coming off a surprising loss to Rafael Lovato Jr. (or so I’m told since no one actually saw the fight. It’s basically MMA’s equivalent of Pat Patterson’s Rio de Janeiro Intercontinental title win). Lyoto Machida has a win over Mousasi, but that was five years ago. Still, he’s looked good since coming over to Bellator. I think Machida will be able to steal another decision here in a close fight.

Mousasi,I can’t bet on Machida anymore, I haven’t believed in Machida since Shogun knocked him out. I didn’t like Mousasi’s last fight and didn’t really agree with the decision, I’m willing to bet that he feels he was cheated as well. Prior to that fight, he had some impressive performances,  I think we see another one here.
