Mairbek Taisumov vs. Carlos Diego Ferreira (Lightweight)
Favorite: Taisumov -280
Round 1: Both guys are exchanging in range to start the fight. Taisumov scores with a nice uppercut, but Ferreira wears it well. Taisumov connects with a short right hand behind the temple, and Ferreira is a bit wobbly from it. Good back and forth round with some well-placed shots by both fighters. (10-9 Taisumov)
Round 2: Taisumov is starting to slow down a little bit, and Ferreira is starting to turn it up Ferreira connects with a short right hook, and then several front kicks to the body. Taisumov returns a left hook of his own. Taisumov throws a right hook and then shoots for a takedown, but Ferreira defends and attempts his own takedown. Ferreira lunges forward with a straight right, and then a jab. (10-9 Ferreira) Good back and forth scrap.
Round 3: Taisumov opens with a kick, but Ferreira catches it and counters with a flying knee! Ferreira is surging forward with combinations, whereas Taisumov is looking for a one-shot kill. Ferreira is starting to really work his jab here, he’s landing at will. Taisumov is doing nothing to deal with the forward movement, just backward steps with little return fire. Ferreira connects with a 1-2. He is completely disregarding Taisumov’s power. Ferreira connects with a high kick, and then a well-placed jab. Ferreira looks absolutely amazing tonight, great accuracy and cardio. (10-9 Ferreira) (29-28 Ferreira)

Curtis Blaydes vs. Shamil Abdurakhimov (Heavyweight)
Favorite: Blaydes -500
Round 1: Blaydes shoots early and scores. He sets one hook, and he is now forcing Shamil to carry his weight. Shamil is up, but Blaydes brings him right back down. Shamil is up again, but Blaydes shoots and takes him down again. That’s three on the night for Blaydes. Blaydes is controlling, he moves into the mount, and he is unleashing some big shots! Shamil is covering up but Blaydes is landing! Saved by the bell. (10-8 Blaydes)
Round 2: Blaydes wastes little time in getting the takedown… Shamil is on his back for the 5th time tonight. Blaydes is looking to move into the mount. Blaydes is controlling the wrist of his opponent. He’s landing some big shots and this fight is over… Shamil is bleeding very badly, I think that led to the stoppage, his nose appears to be broken. Great performance by Curtis Blaydes. He is now 7-2 in the UFC.

Islam Makhachev vs. Davi Ramos (Lightweight)
Favorite: Makhachev -250
Round 1: They’re exchanging early. Islam connects with a nice 1-2. Islam connects to the body, they’re trading shot for shot right now. Islam lands again with an inside leg kick, Ramos returns fire but doesn’t connect. Ramos connects with a grazing right hand to end the round. Not a whole lot to the round. (10-9 Makhachev)
Round 2: Islam breaks the ice with a right hand, but Ramos returns fire with a frantic flurry. Ramos is now working for a takedown against the fence, but Islam shakes him. Lots of jabs by Makhavhev here and Ramos is just allowing it. Not a very fast-paced fight, but Makhachev is clearly in control here. (10-9 Makhachev)
Round 3: Islam connects with a knee! Ramos is down, and Islam is pouring on the punches! Ramos recovers guard, but he must be compromised after that knee. Islam is controlling from the top, not much damage, but plenty of control. (10-9 Makhachev) (30-27 Makhachev)
Result: Islam Makhachev def. Davis Ramos via Unanimous Decision
Paul Felder vs. Edson Barboza (Lightweight)
Favorite: Barboza -155
Round 1: Felder opens up with a spinning back fist! Barboza scores with a couple of low kicks. Felder closes the distance and forces his opponent against the fence. Barboza connects with a kick to the midsection. Felder is bleeding from his forehead, not sure what caused it. Barboza connects with another kick to the midsection. Felder returns a right straight. Felder clipped Barboza with a short hook, it appeared to stun Barboza a bit but it was hard to tell for sure. (10-9 Barboza)
Round 2: They exchange a few shots on the feet, and then Barboza shoots and scores with a well-timed takedown. Felder landed a nice shot right before the takedown and Barboza is busted open. Felder throws up an armbar from his back! It’s not very deep though, and Barboza pulls out. We’re back on the feet. Felder shoots for a takedown but Barboza backs against the fence. (10-9 Barboza)
Round 3: Felder is stalking but Barboza is landing as he backs away. He’s landing kicks to the body, but Felder is pressing forward. Felder connects with a left hook, but Barboza returns a low kick. Felder initiates the clinch and forces Barboza against the fence. Barboza looks for a takedown but Felder defends and keeps him against the fence. Barboza completes a takedown in the final moments of the round. (10-9 Felder) (29-28 Barboza)
Result: Paul Felder def. Edson Barboza via Split Decision
Dustin Poirier vs. © Khabib Nurmagomedov for UFC Lightweight Championship
Favorite: Khabib -550
Round 1: They’re exchanging in the early going. Khabib shoots, but Poirier is using the fence to stay up. Khabib takes him down, but Poirier is working to get up. Khabib is in total control here, threatening with neck cranks and back control, but Poirier is defending himself so far. (10-9 Khabib)
Round 2: They’re exchanging on the feet, Khabib is moving forward with some sloppy strikes. Poirier seems a bit hesitant to throw though, Khabib shoots and takes him down. Poirier is working to his feet, but Poirer puts him right back down. Poirier works back to his feet, but only briefly. (10-8 Khabib)
Round 3: Khabib shoots early, and scores. Poirier has a guillotine, but Khabib pops out of it. Khabib is controlling from the back, he has a hook in. Khabib slaps on a rear-naked choke, it’s very tight and Dustin Poirier is forced to tap. Just pure dominance on the ground by Khabib… I am sorry for the lack of detail, but it was what it was. Khabib did not look great on the feet, but he was unstoppable on the ground. He pressured, and controlled and took the submission when it was available. It’s tough to say who if anybody will beat this guy.
