Francis Ngannou KO’s Junior dos Santos

Francis Ngannou is still a bad man.

With only 1:11 elapsed in the first round, Ngannou showcased his devastating power by getting a brutal Ko victory over Junior dos Santos, in the main event of UFC Minneapolis.

The fight stated out with both men exchanging leg kicks, before Ngannou took advantage of an overextended dos Santos with a barrage of strikes.

The victory puts Ngannou squarely in-line to be the next contender for the heavyweight title.

Who he would face, is still to be determined.

Current heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against former champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 241, on Aug. 17.

Previously, Ngannou feel to then-champion Stipe Miocic via unanimous decision at UFC 220, in January 2018.

The win over dos Santos marks the third consecutive win for Ngannou; with all three wins coming via stoppage in the first round.
