Reebok and UFC announce new “UFC Fight Night” and “Legacy Series” apparel
Reebok and the UFC announced a new line of apparel called the UFC Fight Night Collection. Reebok and UFC® today introduced their new UFC Fight Night Collection, a holistic update to the official UFC athlete fight night apparel that brings a new aesthetic and style combined with an unprecedented standard of customization to the world-famous Octagon®. Drawing on feedback and inspiration from UFC athletes and the greater mixed martial arts community, this new collection features updated versions of the UFC Walkout Jersey, UFC Walkout Hoodie, UFC Octagon Shorts and UFC Walkout Hats.
Part of the new UFC Fight Night Collection is something called the Legacy Series. The Legacy Series is a program that allows champions or headlining UFC fighters to customize their own walkout jersey. Fans will be able to purchase the special walkout jersey for a limited time. The Legacy Series will debut at UFC 215. Four fighters will wear customized walkout jerseys to the ring: Demetrious Johnson, Ray Borg, Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko.
The UFC and Reebok signed a six-year deal in 2014. The partnership made Reebok the exclusive outfitter and apparel provider for the UFC.

John’s Analysis: THANK GOD! I’m so happy that Reebok introduced new designs for their UFC apparel. The old designs were awful. In my opinion, these new designs are much better. I might actually wear some of the shorts or t-shirts while working out. Overall, I think this is a step in the right direction for Reebok. I think Reebok may have finally turned the corner after a horrible start.
Ronda Rousey’s next match might be a pro wrestling bout in the WWE
Ronda Rousey appears to be gearing up for a new career in the WWE. In a backstage video clip on WWE.com, Ronda Rousey appeared to be part of a storyline involving WWE stars Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Bayley.
Rousey was attending the WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament with fellow MMA fighters Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. The three friends were there to support MMA fighter turned WWE star Shayna Baszler. Following the event, the three were asked about Baszler. The interview was interrupted by Flair, Bayley and Lynch with Rousey confronting the WWE Stars. “You name the time, you name the place,” Rousey said. “Oh, not today? We’re waiting to hear from you.”
This is not the first time Rousey has been linked to the WWE world. In 2015, Rousey appeared at WrestleMania in a segment involving The Rock, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

John’s Analysis: I wish nothing but success for Ronda, but I don’t think she would make a good professional wrestler. You need to things to be a WWE star. First, you need the wrestling ability. Second, you need to be able to act. Ronda is a world class athlete, so there’s no doubt she could learn to wrestle. It’s the acting part that has me worried. Ronda’s acting is cringeworthy. If people think Roman Reigns is bad at delivering a promo, just wait until we see a Ronda promo.
Diego Brandao jumps out of cage following illegal up kick
Former UFC fighter Diego Brandao illegally kicked Akhmet Aliev in the neck. Brandao vs. Aliev was the main event fight of Fight Nights Global (FNG) 73 in Kaspiysk, Dagestan. During the second round of the fight, Aliev took Brandao down and head butted Brandao in the chest. The referee stopped the fight to separate the two fighters. Apparently Brandao did not appreciate the head butt and kicked Aliev in the neck during the stoppage.
The crowd reacted to the kick by booing and throwing bottles into the cage. As the chaos continued, Brandao decided to jump out of the cage and leave. Eventually Brandao was escorted back inside the cage and Aliev was declared the winner.
