5 YEARS AGO: Dan Henderson says “steroids might be killing Vitor [Belfort’s] brain” after refuting his Rumble Johnson claim

Five years ago, Dan Henderson fired back at Victor Belfort’s allegation against him. The following story was published here at MMATorch five years ago today…

Vitor Belfort has come out this week saying he took the UFC 142 bout with Anthony “Rumble” Johnson after several fighters turned the middleweight fight down. One of the names he mentioned was Dan Henderson, who then responded in a quick comment to Tatame.com, where he denied Belfort’s statement:

“That’s not true, this fight was never offered to me,” Henderson said. “Steroids might be killing Vitor’s neurons, he’s getting crazy to say something like that.”
