Brandon Thatch injury one of multiple changes to UFC Fight Night 95 in Brasilia

Next month’s UFC Fight Night 95 event in Brasilia, Brazil has had a number of injury shakeups this week, leading to several new fights being set for the event.

The biggest change is a matchup between Erick Silva and Luan Chagas, which came together after each fighter lost their originally scheduled opponents – Brandon Thatch and Shinsho Azai, respectively – to injuries. The welterweights will now face one another rather than getting two new fighters added to separate fights.

Additionally, Renato Carneiro and Joaquim Silva have both pulled out of the Sept. 24 card due to injury, leading to Mike De La Torre and Gregor Gillespie getting new opponents for the event. De La Torre now meets Godofredo “Pepey” Castro on the card, while Gillespie faces Glaico Franca.

The UFC Fight Night 95 event will be headlined by a 140 lb. catchweight bout between Invicta FC Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino and Lina Lansberg.
