Conor McGregor’s desire not to do media in Las Vegas three months out from UFC 200 led to his removal from the card, and that main event spot was taken over by Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier. They’re now in the midst of their media shoots themselves, so naturally Jones took to Instagram with a little hashtag shade sent towards the UFC Featherweight Champion.

Penick’s Analysis: Again, significant difference between the situation facing McGregor and where Jones is entering from. McGregor’s trying to prepare to beat a man he was defeated by. Jones has been prepping for Daniel Cormier for the entirety of his absence, and especially so in the last few months. And he beat him already. Still, it’s a solid shot from Jones here.
