“The Karate Hottie” Michelle Waterson is finally ready to return to action, and she’ll take on Aisling Daly at UFC Fight Night 93 in Hamburg, Germany, this September.
Waterson, the former Invicta FC Atomweight Champion, made her debut in the UFC’s strawweight division last July. She defeated Angela Magana with a third round submission in that fight, but injuries have kept her sidelined since.
Now she gets back in the cage against Daly, who makes her fourth appearance inside the Octagon. Entering out of The Ultimate Fighter 20, Daly submitted Alex Chambers in her debut, but dropped a decision to Randa Markos in her second UFC bout. She got back in the win column last October, defeating Ericka Almeida in her hometown of Dublin, Ireland.
The two join the Sept. 3 card, which will be headlined by heavyweights Josh Barnett and Andrei Arlovski and airs on Fox Sports 1.
