Though still not official, the UFC continues to move ahead with plans for a Welterweight Championship fight between Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley for UFC 201 in Atlanta on July 30.

The latest update comes via a report from MMAFighting.com, which states that they’ve moved into the “finalizing stages” of booking that fight, which could be announced as soon as this week.

Lawler captured the title back in December of 2014, and he’s since defended the belt twice, stopping Rory MacDonald at UFC 189 and edging past Carlos Condit at UFC 195 in two of the best fights of the last 18 months.

Woodley has won four of his last five fights, with wins over Josh Koscheck, Condit, Dong Hyun Kim, and Kelvin Gastelum. However, that most recent win came back in January of 2015, and he hasn’t fought since then.

The UFC 201 event is the organization’s first trip back to Atlanta’s Philips Arena in more than four and a half years, with their last trip coming with the Jon Jones-Rashad Evans headlined UFC 145 event.
