Francisco Rivera in for injured Henry Briones against Brad Pickett at UFC Fight Night 83

An injury to Henry Briones has taken him out of a fight with Brad Pickett next month at UFC Fight Night 83 in London, and he’s been replaced by Francisco Rivera, according to a report from the UK Sun.

California’s Rivera has lost three of his last four fights, and returns here for the first time since his submission loss to John Lineker at UFC 191 in September. That came after a KO win over Alex Caceres last June, which halted the two-fight losing skid he had in 2014.

Pickett’s in a similar spot, having lost three straight and four of his last five into this event. The Londoner last fought in July of last year, getting knocked out by Thomas Almeida with a flying knee at UFC 189.

UFC Fight Night 83 hits UFC Fight Pass on Saturday, Feb. 27, headlined by a five round middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Anderson Silva.
