UFC women’s bantamweight and Ultimate Fighter winner Julianna Pena was arrested on assault charges in Washington state last month, and though she’s yet to appear in court, some new background on the night in question has come out.

Pena was arrested following an incident outside of an establishment named Zola’s in Spokane, with her and another individual allegedly trying to get into said establishment following an even bigger fight outside of a different bar. Now, audio from a couple of 911 calls from that night has been released via TMZ Sports, and it paints quite the negative picture of Pena’s actions.

Listen below:

Pena was released on bail the afternoon after the arrest, and is expected in court later this month.

Penick’s Analysis: It’s still likely Pena doesn’t face much in the way of harsh consequences, and will likely plea down to something significantly lesser than the charges brought against her. The UFC may still take action, but I don’t think we’ll be seeing serious consequences levied her way. That might not be right, but it would certainly be in line with previous instances of out-of-the-cage indiscretions.
