Donald Cerrone’s failed bid for the UFC Lightweight Championship has led to a move, as it was announced Friday night that he’s heading to welterweight to face Tim Means in the main event of UFC Fight Night 82 in Pittsburgh.

The fight announcement was made during Friday’s UFC 195 weigh-in show on Fox Sports 1.

It’s a real quick move for Cerrone after a Dec. 19 loss to Rafael dos Anjos. That snapped an eight-fight winning streak dating back to August of 2013 and his first loss at the hands of dos Anjos. He makes the shift up to welterweight for the first time in his 37th career fight.

Means, another former lightweight who made the shift up, has been mostly excellent at welterweight thus far. “The Dirty Bird” is 5-2 in his second stint in the UFC, with his losses coming to Neil Magny and Matt Brown. He’s scored three stoppage wins in his last four fights, most recently knocking John Howard out in the second round at UFC Fight Night 80 last month.

The UFC Fight Night 82 event hits Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center on Feb. 21, with another feature matchup between Cody Garbrandt and John Lineker promising much violence for the fans in Pennsylvania.
