Evinger’s one-sided decision win over Colleen Schneider was her first successful title defense after a second round TKO win over Pannie Kianzad in non-title action in her last fight in September.
In other action on Saturday’s Invicta FC 17 event, which aired live on UFC Fight Pass, TUF 20 competitor Angela Hill hit the culmination of her resurgent post-UFC run when she dethroned reigning Invicta FC Strawweight Champion Livia Renata Souza. The decision victory followed consecutive stoppage wins in Invicta after her premature release from the UFC, and she’s now 5-2 overall with her only losses coming to top competitors in Rose Namajunas and Tecia Torres.
