Conor McGregor continues to make comments on social media as he waits for the UFC to re-book his rematch with Nate Diaz. Here’s his latest from Instagram:
Penick’s Analysis: McGregor wants the UFC to book this fight, something they may not be willing to do after taking him off UFC 200. They’ve said he’ll defend the Featherweight Title next, but I’d expect they’ll give him the fight again. It leaves far too much money on the table to not have it booked at UFC 201 or UFC 202 in order to set up the Featherweight Title bout later in the year. I expect him to get the chance once the song and dance is over with, but for now it’s a continued holding pattern until they decide to move forward.

“Believe that”?
Nope, I don’t believe a bloody thing he has to say now. Especially when it comes to any potential rematch with Nate.
McGregor had that fight booked & ready to go, then he got cold feet. Nate was ready & eager to fulfil his obligations for the rematch, but McGregor clearly was not. Whatever his excuses are, he got schooled & easily choked out by a relatively unprepared, out of shape Diaz. Obviously, he wants no part of mixing it up with an in shape, focused Nate. So, he quick tapped again. This time, BEFORE the fight could even take place! LOL.
