Doo Ho Choi vs. Charles Jourdain (Featherweight)

Round 1: Choi is looking to box in the early part of round one. Jourdain secures a body lock, but Choi breaks it and lands a quick uppercut. Jourdain connects with a left hand, but Choi connects with a knee and a left hook. Jourdain returns fire with an uppercut. Choi connects with a short right hand, Jourdain is down, but he appears to be okay. Choi drops into his guard with two minutes left in the round. Choi is attempting to stack, but Jourdain gives up his back to escape the position. Choi is landing short shots, Jourdain circles away from the cage and we are back in the center of the cage. Jourdain attempts a flying knee, but Choi wears it well. Choi’s faith in his chin makes me extremely nervous. Jourdain connects with a knee, I believe, and Choi is down! Jourdain landed a few shots before the bell ended the round. (10-9 Choi)
Round 2: Jourdain lands a grazing left hook. Choi fakes and uppercut and connects with a right hook to the body. Jourdain clinches and lands a short left hand as they separate. Choi lands a few short punches in close range. Jourdain returns a combination with two minutes left in the round. Jourdain connects with an uppercut! Choi’s timing is off here, he is not avoiding Jourdain’s punches. Jourdain lands a crisp left hook, Choi is hurt, he falls to the mat, and Jourdain finishes him off with punches on the ground.

Frankie Edgar vs. The Korean Zombie (Featherweight)

Round 1: They’re both landing short shots here in the early portion of round one. Edgar connects with a solid low kick. Zombie connects with a right hand, and Edgar is down! Zombie is attacking, he takes Edgar’s back and flattens him out! Zombie is landing punches from the back and Edgar is in trouble here! Zombie sinks in two hooks, Edgar is looking to escape from the body lock, but he is taking a lot of damage here. Zombie is just pelting Edgar with short shots, Edgar is attempting to build a base. Edgar scrambles to his feet, but Zombie hits him with an uppercut and a right hand! Edgar is down and this fight is over!
