Dana White appears to have changed his mind regarding Tyson Fury joining the UFC.

Videos of the Lineal Heavyweight Champion training with fellow British fighter Darren Till surfaced last month, with the “Gypsy King” stating he wants to try his hand in the world of MMA.

To begin with, Dana White didn’t appear that interested in signing the undefeated boxing heavyweight.

“Tyson Fury is a very marketable heavyweight, I believe he’s one of the best in the world, he’s an incredible fighter, and promoted the right way could be part of the three or four biggest fights in heavyweight history,” White told TMZ Sports in November. “So why come over here and get smashed when you can stay there? Tyson Fury your time is now. You’re the man in boxing. You’re one of the top four guys in the world in boxing. Why even think about coming over here?”

Now a month later, it would seem that Fury’s persistence has gotten through to the UFC president. White made an appearance on 106.7 FM in Washington, D.C. recently where he said “It’s Interesting. He and I talked the other day. He really is interested in fighting, so I respect that. We’ll see what happens.”

Fury is a massive pull and would generate huge pay-per-view attention should he make the move to UFC. First, Fury has a scheduled bout with WBC World Champion, Deontay Wilder to attend to before he can think about MMA.
