3 Fights To Watch 7/1/22

Sean O’ Malley vs Pedro Munhoz

With the amount of shit Sean O’Malley talks he could fill up a warehouse in a week so it’s natural we all wanna see him get his ass iicked. Truthfully he may be the biggest shot the UFC has at making a new, legitimate star. There are other fighters that could become stars but O’Malley haste “IT” factor that “new media” looks for.

Loser of 4 of his last 5 fights, Pedro Munhoz is clearly setup to fail in this fight. The only thing favorable is that they were high profile losses to future Hall of Famers. Munhoz is supposed to be the stepping stone for O’ Malley to start his title fight tour, that is likely what will happen.

Jim Miller vs Donald Cerrone

The Cowboy steps in as a last minute replacement and he has got to be fired up. I believe this is his last fight, he wants to go out with a bang and I believe this will be that proverbial bang. Both have similar records but only one will walk away with his 17th loss. However,  there is a chance that Jim Miller retires as well. When it’s time to hang it up, it’s time to gang it up. Both have had success in their careers but as we’ve seen over their past 2 years of their storied careers that they’ve had some lows. One last bloody war to end 2 Hall of Famers seems very appropriate  and on such a big card.

Sean Strickland vs Alex Pereira

Yeah yeah yeah, we have to watch this because Alex Pereria beat Israel Adesanya many moons ago. As for Sean Strickland, we want to see someone shut him up. Strickland is my pick to win this fight, he’s on a good streak, Pereira is being thrown into the deep end in this fight. I couldn’t give less of a damn about either of these guys but that’s what makes it just see. Someone could get hurt and BAD, exactly what I want to see happen to one of them so it’s win win.
