This fight has been ridiculous to be ever since it was announced. Eye didn’t deserve a title shot. In fact, I think she is miles away. Shevchenko kills Eye, and it is a whooping. I see the flyweight division as Shevchenko’s division featuring bantamweights and strawweights that can’t cut it at the top of their division. Shevchenko kills Eye, but I see it being a long beating. Shevchenko wins via Round 4 TKO.

Never seen anything out of Jessica Eye that would suggest that she is on the level of Valentina. I feel like Valentina Shevchenko is a different fighter because she moved down in weight, she seemed to gas early when she fought JJ. I’m picking Jessica Eye just because I think there are some upsets coming in MMA just like what happened in boxing.

I think Shevchenko wins the clear decision. Eye is tough, but I don’t know if she’s ready for Shevchenko. She’s so tenacious that I think she grinds Eye down and wins a strong decision.

This fight will be all Valentina Shevchenko. Jessica Eye has been able to string a few wins together, but I have no reason to expect this to be a competitive fight. Eye will likely try and keep things ugly early on but ultimately, Shevchenko’s superior striking will create a problem that Eye will be unable to solve and the champ will retain with a five-round decision win.
