Clean murder scene

If UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones didn’t have enough to gloat about, he can add yesterday’s clean drug test results to the list.

After ESPN’s Brett Okamoto reported that Jone had passed the California State Athletic Commission and USADA drug tests on the night of UFC 232, Jones took to Instagram to make sure the world, and his future opponents, knew it.

“Finished my so-called kryptonite before the championship rounds,” Jones wrote in the caption. “Absolutely no jet fuel was found on the murder scene @alexthemauler just wanted to make sure you saw this. Seemed like that was the only thing you could focus on in our last fight. Interested to hear the excuses of my next few victims. Only 51 more days to go, will you be a witness?”

Leading up to their rematch at UFC 232, opponent Alexander Gustafsson said that Jones could be on rocket fuel as long as the fight happened.

Jones fights next on March 2 at UFC 235 where he will defend his title against Anthony Smith.

Vitor, for example. Even me, though I never had the replacement. But some athletes who really need it, who are older.”

-Ion Cutelaba and John Lineker have both been pulled from their fights at UFC Fight Night Brooklyn on Jan. 19 due to injury.
