The one of a kind trade between UFC and ONE Championship is said to be official. Demetrious Johnson is now property of ONE and Ben Askren is UFC bound.
ESPN reported earlier today that the trade, which they reported as being close to a done deal during the week, has now been finalized. Each fighter’s rights has been transferred to the respective promotion and both are expected to sign new contracts.
Johnson appears to be excited about the move when sharing the news with his Twitter followers.

Askren has been active on social media all week and continued throughout the day Saturday, including asking Dana White to unblock him now that White is his boss.
