Dana White is feeling a little better after the post-fight chaos at UFC 229 now that pay-per-view numbers are starting to roll in.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, White claimed that UFC 229 buys are looking pretty good.

“I’m a little giddy this morning,” White said with a smile. “The pay-per-view numbers are starting to roll in so I’m in a much better mood than I was on Saturday. ”

White went on to say that it looks like UFC 229 will do less than 3 million buys but more than 2 million.

“We’re way over 2 million, so I’m happy,” he shared.

2 million pay-per-view purchases would crush the former record set by UFC 220 headlined by Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz which did just over 1.6 million buys. What White doesn’t clarify is if the 2 million number included international buys or online pay-per-view buys.

Nonetheless, it looks like UFC 229 will go down as one of, if not the biggest events UFC has ever presented.
